Ms. Lonely

during parts of the "sports year" i definitely feel alone. lol.
i think i may be one of the only people that doesnt enjoy college hoops that much.
today everyone is talking about butler vs florida, or the arizona game.

and im talking about how much i want to go outside and play. lol. -_-

i usually start my sports rants at night when most of the NBA games are on because i'd rather keep up with them, then 50 million college teams.
i can't keep up with brackets. the sweet 16, the final four, none of that. lol.

only thing good about march madness to me... is March 8th.

my birthday.

MY Spurs.

Tim Duncan Sprained his ankle while helping put a hurtin on the Warriors!!
i hope he bounces back quickly... and i also hope this doesn't affect the rest of the team.

How about Manu though...28 points. Picked the team up after one of our soldiers fell. (lol)
and carried us to a 11-96 lead

Beautiful Day for Oxfords

Today my friend and I went and took pictures in Sweetheart Circle here at Ga Southern...
and i wore my Chocolate Oxfords.
These shoes are so comfortable..even though they look like they should be tight on my foot.

I got them at Forever 21
for $22.80

Mary Jane Red Bottoms

i really want this pair of red bottoms...
or any pair for that matter. hell.
i need a pair of nude heels as a matter of fact...
though they wont cost NEARLY as much as these do.
They cost $995 and i saw them on Kim K.
The platform is 4 1/2 and the heel is 6 1/4 inches
^_^ perfect for short people like me!! lol.

NFL :c

i feel like the struggle that the NFL is going
through right now isn't being advertised enough...
and questions aren't getting answered.!!!

like:

  1. if the NFL is in a deadlock; why are we still having a draft?
  2. what type of back-up plans does the NFLPA have for the players, if they "lose" their job?
  3. when is the Commissioner and the head of the NFLPA gonna meet again?
and last but certainly not least...

what the %$@& we supposed to watch on Sundays now??!!

My "Dream" Shoe

This is one foamposite that i would definitely wear if they came in kids sizes.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro
in Electric Green!!
This shoe gets me so excited i really don't know why.
They came out on March 5 and they are priced at $190

i could just picture myself wearing these.
(only in my dreams)

Changes made to the NFL kickoffs = More wins for the Colts. :)

i really wanna be there when Peyton Mannign hears the news about the Kickoff yardage change. If this goes through...
were really going to go further than we did this year...and which a better record!!

Heat vs. OKC *update*

Yall Ready For This:

They Lost.
 96-85
not that bad.

im not a heat hater...i just really enjoy when a team that just beat mine, get what they deserve.
A L.
wait..so i guess that makes me a hater right... oh well.

(had to take a picture of my screen)
makes it way funnier.

Monta Ellis
I dont give him enough credit.

Spring Shoes

another shoe i cant WAIT to wear this summer!!!
they cost me 79.99 and they are super comfortable because of
the cork wedge.
the outside is made of suede, and they are available in yellow, and black also at novushoes.com

NCAA vs NBA

Alot of ppl ask me why is it that i like the NBA better than the NCAA. They also go so far as to make dumb assumptions such as, but not limited to:
You're not a real sports fan if you dnt watch college ball!
If you dnt like college ball, then you CAN'T like pro ball?
and my personal favorite...
Girls wouldn't know anyway.
All that makes me laugh. i have told people time and time again that their are significant things for me that are different and i just don't like it, some big ones are:
I like the fact the NBA has 12 min qtrs and not 20 min halves -_-
I Love basketball so i would rather the 82 games a year than the 30 NCAA has.

I don't knock any college player, or team for what they are doing...or trying to do. i also wish them the best of luck. I just cant get jiggy with college ball.

Heat vs. OKC

As i predicted earlier this week, when the Heat beat us (the Spurs) by 30 points, that the Thunder would give them a run for their points. The score right now is 43-35 OKC up.
I've never been a really big OKC fan but i have some friends that are, and they seem to be convinced that they soon will be playoff contenders. How true that may be we'll find out next year, because as of right now..i tell you i don't see it happening.

Spurs vs Heat

The last time i did a post related to this topic i was OD excited because we were victorious....beating the "El Heat" by 30 points.
but today..it is with a heavy heart that i must report...
we lost...
by 30 points.

That is right everybody, the almighty Spurs fell to their knees for the Heat.

I'm not gonna lie, or be biased on this post. The Heat played a hell of a game. All of their players were organized (except Bibby), and they had one thing on their mind..and that was to win (except Mike Miller). (I think it was revenge though)
Chris Bosh played an amazing game scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds, and to me was the best player of the night. Like i said, they played a tough game, and they deserved to win. Congrats to the Heat on that one.

30 for 30: Fab 5

Last night on ESPN, they aired a new 30 for 30 documentary. This one was about the Fab 5. The Fab 5 was 5 dynamic Freshman (Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson) who played the starting lineup for michigan state university.

Before this documentary i must admit that I had only heard of Chris Webber before i started watching sports. Jalen Rose I learned about when he played for Phoenix in '07, and Juwan Howatd I only know because we defeated the Heat horribly and he is a member of that team. Sadly I knew nothing of the other two.

I actually enjoyed hearing everything thing from their prospective, and seeing everything they had to go through at such a young age. They endured hate mail, doubts, losses, and even run ins with trouble. Even with all that they managed to go down history for something great.
I had no idea that they were the ones to introduce the classic black Nike socks that boys wear today, or that they were the ones who made baggy basketball shorts trendy.I loved it. I would definitely add the 30 for 30 DVD collection to my own.

What The...

Today is a sad day in the world of professional football. I slept with my TV on, and when i started to wake up, all i could hear on ESPN was that we might not have a 16 game season next . WHAT THE... but why. :c
In my perfect world the NFL and the NFLPA (national football league player association) would come to the perfect agreement, and i would wake up to a Sunday afternoon game Colts vs Dolphins, and we would beat them terribly. but...its not.
Hopefully all involved reach an agreement soon, so that NFL fans can pick their hearts up off the ground, wipe the footprints of this battle off, put back on our favorite jersey, and cheer for our team.

Damn Jimmer.

All I can say is damn.
First of all I wasnt even going to watch this game because
I already knew the outcome.
BYU would hand one to University of New Mexico
seeing as how they were a high ranked team,
and the win would allow a rise in rankings.
...but, what i didnt expect is for their all-star player Jimmer Fredette to score
52 POINTS BY HIS DAMN SELF!
I'm not really a fan of college basketball, just because
i like the way the NBA is set up,
(four quarters, different shot clock, better ball handling)
but I think Jimmer is a player I would like to follow.
Which would mean me watching more college ball.
I can handle it.

Kim Kardashian

After seeing Kim Kardashian in these shoes i went on a "shoe hunt" for some look alikes. My shoe hunt ended when i went to Forever21.com and saw these
now they aren't exact look alikes, but i could pull off a similar look with these.

I can't wait to have these babies on my feet.

They cost $125 and they look so comfortable. I'm in love with leopard print heels, pretty much leopard print anything i'll buy it if it's sexy.

El Oh El : The Last Laugh

This picture was taken from a screen shot of ESPN.com on my phone. This post is titled "El Oh El" because on this night the Miami Heat played in their El Heat jerseys against the San Antonio Spurs in their Los Spurs jerseys. (my favorite team might I add). A website that i was on called the305.com had a post entitled "El Heat take an El", I laughed so hard at that. Like I said they played in their El Heat jerseys and were made a mockery out of thee E N T I R E game.
The score was as follows:
1st Qtr: 36-12
2nd Qtr: 62-50
3rd Qtr: 94-72
4th Qtr: 125-95

Now I don't like to brag but damn.
I was really looking forward to this game because my favorite team is the Spurs and we've been having a GREAT season, but a few of my friends who are Heat fans really swore that they would destroy us. They would always question my sports saavy, and laugh at me because i liked the Spurs.
I had the last laugh that night.
El Oh El.

First Post... and a sad one.

I have been looking for these floral Mary Jane pumps inspired by Miu Miu e v e r y w h e r e.
I finally heard that they were from Forever 21 so i went there immediately, with my debit card ready. They were't online AT ALL!!! I scrolled through the page numerous times to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me...and it was true; they were sold out.
I really wanted to add them to my shoe family, but I guess it wont be that easy. :( I wont fret though, i'm gonna go to the actual store and see if they are there.
